Tottenham have shown a bit of inconsistent form so far this season but nevertheless they aren’t losing games. 1-1 draws away at both Everton and Liverpool are where Spurs have dropped points so far this campaign but are both respected results. However, preparation for this one couldn’t of gone better with a 4-0 win away at Stoke over the weekend so confidence should be high in the Spurs camp.
Monaco
Monaco have really impressed most since this season winning five of the last five including a Ligue 1 win over French champions PSG. Monaco will have bad memories of playing in London as Spurs humiliated them 5-1 just before Christmas last year in the Europa League. They look a different outfit this time around and it shouldn’t be so easy for Spurs this time.

They are both scoring plenty of goals and I think that both teams to score will be a good shout here. Spurs at home will always be promising to score and Monaco in the form that they are in, mixed with revenge of last seasons clash makes me like the look of BTTS.

Tottenham haven’t played in Europe’s best competition for 5 years, they reached the quarterfinals in 2010/2011 season. Now they are drawn in group E alongside Bayer Leverkusen, Monaco and CSKA Moscow. Spurs have been good so far this season, they are unbeaten since the beginning of the season with 2 draws and 2 wins. They tore Stoke City apart on Saturday, with a 0-4 away win. They are hopeful of getting to the knockout stages again in this season’s Champions League competition.
Monaco defeated Fenerbahce and Villarreal in the 3rd qualifying round and playoff round respectively to get to this stage. They are currently top of the Ligue 1 table with 10 points, also they have been unbeaten since the beginning of this season. They did well to grab another win on Saturday, they defeated 0-4 Lille on the road. They will be hoping to carry their good form into the Champions League as they travel to London.
