FC Basel

The team from Basel had a reason to regret that they could make a much better result in the first leg with PSV. Despite being the first to receive a goal, they managed to reverse the result and only a minute before Basel ended 2-1 up. The decline in concentration at the end of the match made them lose two new goals and they lost, so now they have to catch up with the stack of deposits. The 2-1 score is not a bad result and they will receive it before the match, but now the real challenge is in front of them.

They will not relax even if they win and therefore they must return to give the maximum. The defeat shook them and they really unexpectedly lost a league match to St. Gallen 2-1 at home on Saturday. Koller's manager has changed almost all the teams that play in Eindhoven and there have also been reasons for defeat. Now, the same team that is so close to winning the first match will most likely start the match.

Possible lineup of FC Basel: Omlin - Widmer, Comert, Alderete. T. Xhaka - F. Frei, Balanta - Zuffi, Stocker, van Wolsfswinkel - Al. Ajeti

PSV Eindhoven

PSV clearly had problems at the start of the season and this was a match where they were finally able to show their true colors because the early elimination of the Champions League would be a true disaster. They must be happy with the way the first leg opened, although they secretly hope it can solve many questions in the matches played in front of their fans. The first PSV took the lead, thanks to Bruma who came this summer, and all suggested that they would win easily, however, they saved their skin in the final minutes of the game thanks to other newcomers Lammers and young Malen, and now have a minimal advantage .

On Saturday they played with Ajax in the Dutch Super Cup but once again they did not play as expected. The match took place in Amsterdam and therefore PSV could not be the favorite to win, while the goals received in the first minute really knocked them off their rhythm. At the start of the second half they received another goal and it became clear that PSV would not win a title this season because they failed to equalize. The team has four changes compared to the match with Basel, and now new changes are imminent, while the Lammers are questioned.

Possible arrangements for PSV Eindhoven players: Zoet - Dumfries, Viergever, Luckassen, Boscagli - Rosario, Gutierrez - Bruma, Bergwijn, Lowano - Malen
Basel vs PSV Head to Head

There were only two previous meetings between Basel and PSV with both teams claiming a 3-2 victory in each match.

Match Basel vs PSV

Basel have a lot of quality in attacks with Albian Ajeti and Kemal Ademi, who have scored two goals each in their last four matches. Both of them have to join in to trouble the PSV defense which has lately looked shaky.

PSV can also resist their own attacks as indicated by their three goals in the first leg. Donyell Malen and Sam Lammers were both on target in Eindhoven and would be confident once more to pass the Basel line.

Basel vs PSV Main Statistics

Basel and PSV have seen more than 4.5 goals in their last 2 meetings (all competitions).

Basel have seen more than 2.5 goals in their last 5 matches (all competitions).

Basel are unbeaten in 5 of their last 8 matches (all competitions).

PSV have seen more than 2.5 goals in 8 of their last 9 matches (UEFA Champions League).

PSV are unbeaten in 9 of their last 13 matches (all competitions).

Basel vs PSV Eindhoven: Prediction

Basel are a strong team at home and we think they can win this match. But that might be very close. All we have to remember is that the first leg was heading for a 2-2 result with PSV scoring the winner in injury time. PSV have also not been on the road for some time, all this adds to us as a home win and we will support Basel who will have very strong home support for this match.

Nomme Kalju vs Celtic Preview and Prediction Champions League Qualifying Tuesday, 30th July 2019

Betting tips JK NOMME KALJU VS CELTIC

To be honest, after running out of a 5-0 victory in the first leg, Celtic could have done it without this match, even though the Scottish club could treat it as another warm-up match ahead of the domestic campaign that will soon begin.

As expected, Celtic finished the job with a minimum of commotion a week ago, because they notched five, did not admit to one and generally outperformed lower opponents. Looking ahead, they have a lot to say, when they registered 29 shots, 15 of them on target, while they recorded 3.42 goals expected to be expected. Instead, they conceded just three shots, nothing hit the target, and only 0.18 goals were expected.

After last week's disappointment, Estonian club Kalju will hope to do better, although it's easy to see them fight again. Not only were they very poor last week, but they also lost at home during the previous round. On that occasion, Estonia were beaten 1-0 by Albanian Shkendija.

Put simply, the fact that Kalju lost at Shkendija did not bode well, although their performance on that occasion was what really worried. Despite playing at home against a fairly weak opposition, the hosts Tuesday offered very little, because they only recorded three shots, one of which hit the target and posted a expected target of very little 0.05 for. Such efforts do not suggest that they will make much progress against Celtic.

The best that Kalju can now expect for now is to avoid the second blow, which given that visitors have almost no danger of failing to pass, they might do it.

From the point of view of betting, 'Under 3.5 Goals' attracts attention. Celtic might have destroyed their opponents for the second time in a row, despite being given an aggregate score line, very likely Neil Lennon will rest key players. Add the fact that the hosts don't seem to be able to face the threat, coupled with the fact that fewer than four goals have been scored in three of the four Celtic away qualifying matches since 2018 and games with relatively low scores start to look a bit more likely than the current opportunities suggest.

Nomme Kalju vs Celtic: Head to Head

The team only met once before which last week in the first leg with Celtic won 5-0. Celtic led 3-0 in the first round.

Nomme Kalju vs Celtic: Prediction

Celtic may experience difficulties, but they must win but the opportunities quoted do not represent the value we are looking for. Instead of the main bet we want to focus on is seeing more goals in the 2nd round.

Nomme was at home and was a hit team but they wanted to show strength and courage and pride when the match started, which is why we could see the first half was really bad with a few opportunities.

But when Nomme was tired in the second round, there was a chance to see Celtic go up gear and nothing could rule out the Nomme who didn't get a goal too. We really think this game will open as time goes by, the chances are also feasible. For smaller bets, the correct score bet is to win Celtic.

Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Cluj Preview and Prediction Champions League Qualifying Tuesday, 30th July 2019

Maccabi Tel Aviv's Latest Team News

The Ivic coach gave the opportunity to several new players in the first leg, over the players who performed both in the Super Cup and friendly matches. He might consider changing his mind again because his team did not appear as expected in the first leg. However, Andreas Gianniotis was once again expected to start in the goal. Ivic, however, would be without Nikolic, Atzili and Golasa, all of whom were injured.

CFR Cluj Latest Team News

Coach Petrescu rested several players for the first leg and that really paid off for him. Billel Omrani in monster form - he scored four goals in the last two Champions League matches he played. As a result, he will certainly be the man to watch in the upcoming matches.

Betting Options: Maccabi Tel Aviv vs. CFR Cluj

It's hard to say what Maccabi can do because they are still not in full competitive conditions but they are always good at home and we hope to dominate. Cluy has the advantage and might choose a defensive variant. We estimate that the guests will lose, but that does not mean that Maccabi will escape.

Choose: Maccabi wins

Bets: 5/10

Opportunity: 2.15 on betvictor (can be played up to 2.05)

Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Cluj: Prediction

There is every chance Maccabi can be eliminated in this round, but after saying that we still think they can win this match at night. The shape of the house has been solid and Cluj doesn't do too far from home. This game is about away goals at this point.

If Maccabi takes out all the weapons they have the chance to win this second leg, but overall it is questionable whether they will advance, once they surrender. Maccabi is a very good price to win, so the small bets here will return well.
